Disclose your positions
If you hold, or plan to take, a position in a stock you are discussing, say so in the post. Promoting a stock you already own without disclosing it is grounds for removal.
No tip services, no off-platform funnels
Do not link to Telegram or WhatsApp groups, paid tip services, or advisory subscriptions. Do not post phone numbers or payment handles.
Argue with the reasoning, not the person
Disagreement is the point of the forum. Harassment, slurs, and threats are not.
Be specific
“Is this a good buy?” is hard to answer. The symbol, your timeframe, the numbers you are looking at, and what you have already checked make it answerable.
One topic per thread
Separate questions get separate threads, so answers stay findable later.
What happens when you report something
Reporting hides the content from you immediately. A copy is preserved as it was at the time, so later edits cannot change what a moderator reviews. An admin reviews reports within 24 hours and may hide content, suspend the author, or dismiss the report. Every moderation action is logged with a reason.
Blocking and your data
Blocking works in both directions: neither of you sees the other’s posts, and neither can reply, vote, follow, or mention the other. Manage blocks on the Blocked & Hidden page. If you delete your TradeIdea account, your posts stay but are attributed to “Deleted member”, so existing threads still make sense.
